Inspiration
Being a new parent can be hard, even with a village.
After downloading numerous parenting apps and paying multiple subscriptions, I realized there was not a place that housed the information needed in a neat location.
Thus Parenthood.

Branding
The app needed to be inclusive. It was a space for parents, not just mothers.
However, spaced need to reflect a population who, statistically, needed the information the most.

Experience
POSTHOOD is what you get after the supposed newborn stage.
It is the stage where most parents are left to their own devices.
POSTHOOD is the stage where family and friends call to talk about the children not the parent.
POSTHOOD is where we put the parents and their supports first.
POSTHOOD
A class long project in Interface Design (IDS 464) and Data Science, Management, and Business Strategy (IDS 409)
At the beginning of my journey in obtaining my masters, I found out I was to become a mother. I used this new found identity to conceptualize a concept application: POSTHOOD.
POSTHOOD is an all-encompassing application for parents of all genders and stages.
POSTHOOD focuses on the need to build community and have access to resources in one location to provide the best chance in life - for parent and child.
